I was surprised to see this bite-sized Burnt Basque Cheesecake in a bakery inside Market Place Supermarket here in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. It was inside a display fridge that showed other normal size cakes. It was really small. It was about an inch high and the top surface area of this mini cheesecake had a diameter of only 2 inches. I think it's a splendid idea to sell pastries in really small sizes. Hong Kong people don't want to become fat and dumpy. Plus, Hong Kong people are aware how much calories are in these pastries.
It's technically not bite-size but it cost only HK$22.00, so for me it qualifies. And it's delicious! The trick is to bring the croissant home with you and put it in the toaster until the top is about to turn red. It is so delicious! Will I but it again? Yes!
This coffee cream cup is really tiny. It's 2 feet high. The top surface has a diameter of 3 inches and the bottom has a diameter of 2 inches. That's tiny! It was delicious and I did not have to worry about how much calorie was in it because it was such a tiny cup!
It's just an inch high and the top and bottom has a diameter of only 2 inches. The taste and texture is unlike the one I bought from the bakery inside Market Place supermarket. The one I bought from Market Place is legit Burnt Basque Cheesecake.
I found myself inside this newly-opened bakery along Wan Chai Road. I told myself that I shouldn't leave without buying anything. And so I did. I bought this bite-size glazed apple doughnut and brought it home with me to eat after dinner. Will I buy it again? No.
